There were positives — not many for sure — but a couple. Navarro was, is, and will be a power, so, whereas a 42-0 loss sounds bad, and it was, the Panthers (7-0) are beating everyone like that. They are ranked second in the state, Class-4A, Division II, and must be referred to as perennials, as difficult to take on as Jack Reacher. Positive #2: the Jackets’ first half was admirable, trailing just 14-0.
