Owen named National Merit semifinalist
Sydney Owen, a Llano High senior, has been named a semifinalist for the National Merit Scholarship Program.

Llano High School senior Sydney Owen has earned her place as a semifinalist in the National Merit Scholarship Program, a prestigious academic competition. Approximately 1.6 million students from all over the United States entered this competition last fall in the hopes of being recognized for their academic achievements and earn valuable scholarships.
