Spend five minutes with Llano Elementary School Principal Doug DeBord, and you’ll soon realize that for him, it really is all about the kids. The 2016-17 school year will be his first as the head of LES, but he spent last year getting to know the students and faculty as the assistant principal. Having transferred from Fredricksburg, DeBord chose Llano because, “There is something to be said about the people of a small town.
