Linda Gayle Short Burnett, 75, passed away on August 19, 2016 at Glen Rose Hospital in Glen Rose, Texas. She was born on April 21, 1941 in Mathis, Texas to Thomas Amon and WillEtta Redford Short. Linda grew up in Llano Texas with a short stint in Big Lake Texas. She graduated as the valedictorian from Llano High School. She attended college at North Texas University in Denton, Texas and Sul Ross State University in Alpine, Texas where she received a Bachelors in History and Education.
