There’s no Llano football on the sports page here, because it’s all in the Sports Preview Special edition very close by. We did want to present a little “teaser.” Coach Craig Slaughter introduced to the “Meet the Jackets” crowd, August 16, his varsity football team, and we learned some of the boys’ nicknames. Here’s a sample: John “Rocket” Heflin. Ray “The Franchise” Dixon. Ben “The Snake” Walling.
