Preston convicted in murder case

A Kingsland woman was convicted in the death of her husband after a more than week-long trial that ended late Monday night in the Llano County Courthouse. Kathryn Louise Preston, 47, was sentenced to 45 years in prison and a $10,000 fine in the Aug. 26, 2014, murder of her husband, 23-year old Jose Mario Hernandez.
