‘Battle of Packsaddle Mountain’ painting now on display at museum
The “Battle of Packsaddle Mountain’ painting by Jack Moss is now on display at the Llano County Historical Museum.

The Jack Moss painting of the Battle of Packsaddle Mountain is now on display at the Llano County Historical Museum. According to the artist, the painting depicts the last battle in Llano County between ranchers and Comanche Indians. This battle occurred on top of Packsaddle Mountain, which is located on the eastern edge of the county off of Highway 71.
