Blackburn, Sandoval win in Republican runoff election
Incumbent Bill Blackburn won the Republican primary runoff Tuesday against James Schilling by a 1,305 to 468 margin.

There will be a new commissioner in Precinct 3 for Llano County as challenger Mike Sandoval upended incumbent Ron Wilson in Tuesday’s Republican Party primary runoff election. Also on Tuesday, incumbent Bill Blackburn handily won the primary for sheriff against challenger James Schilling, who withdrew from the race last month.
