Llivin` Llavida Llano: Llooking Forward
Fiddle Fest volunteers donate proceeds from this year’s Fiddlefest Weekend to local charities. On hand from the non-profit were John Caballero, Gary and D`ann Green, and Doris Messer. To receive the donations were, from the Food Pantry, Patricia Culpepper, Doris Rainwater, Dennis Hinton and Ruth Sattela; from Fuel Coffee House, Stanley Miller. From Meals on Wheels, Corrine Fowler and Gwen Brumm; and from the Pittsburgh Baptist Church Food Ministry, Jackie Dahl. The drive to the Precinct 2 annex in Llano County on Friday afternoon was a perfect reminder as to why over 50 leaders and concerned citizens from all around Llano County came together to discuss a new initiative introduced by the Llano County Attorney’s office. Llooking Forward in Llano County is an innovative way to improve on substandard properties in the county, working with property owners on ways to clean up lots and either demolish or replace dilapidated structures.
