Filing for City Council, School Board Set to Begin This Week
First day to file to run for City Council is this Wednesday, Jan. 20. There will be three open seats. Those whose terms will expire in May are Alderman Allen Hopson, Alderwoman Gail Lang and Mayor Pro Tem John Ferguson. Contact City Secretary Toni Milam for more information. 325-247-4158. Filing period for the school board is the same.
