Donald Murchison of Buchanan Dam passed away peacefully at home Thursday November 26, 2015 at the age of 79. He was born June 12, 1936 to Oscar and Willie Mae (Bill) Murchison in Burnet, Texas. Donald married Dorothy Louise Campbell on Sept. 7, 1957 in Leander, Texas. He was a lifelong resident of Buchanan Dam. He was a director of the Burnet County Fair and Rodeo Association for many years and a founding member of the Buchanan Dam Volunteer Fire Department. A descendant of ea ...
