Chip Roy, First Assistant Texas Attorney General To Speak At Llano Tea Party
Chip Roy was appointed first assistant attorney to the Texas Attorney General, Ken Paxton, in November 2014. Prior to that he had been chief of staff for U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz who wanted him to run his presidential campaign, but family and a bout with cancer kept him in Texas.
