WALL—It was neighbor vs. neighbor—not the schools, but the coaches. Houston Guy, two years older than Craig Slaughter, was host, as head coach of the Hawks. In the mid-to-late 1980s, they lived across the street from each other and played for the Winters Blizzards. Oh, the Blizz was led by Craig’s dad, Dan. Guy’s team looked like it could run to Houston and won this match, 28-13.
