Kuehne to Advance to Nationals, Band Will Get New Director
An LHS freshman has qualified for FCCLA national competition in Washington, D.C. this summer. Sydney Kuehne took first place in regional contests for her speech on Human Trafficking. She also received a $4000 scholarship to Texas Tech, unusual for a freshman to have scholarships. Sydney gave her speech at the LISD April Board meeting Tuesday.
