Second Annual STOL Roundup Takes Off
Weather did not dampen the Texas STOL Roundup at the Llano Airport last weekend. It was the second annual meet to be held here. STOL stands for Short Take Off and Landing aircraft. These small planes are the principle transportation in "bush country" – hard to get to places with hills, mountains, forests and other natural obstacles.
