On Tuesday, October 14, the HLRW held its October General Meeting at the Llano Library. Justice Jeff Rose, a Republican, currently serves on the 3rd Court of Appeals, Place 2, a position to which he was elected in 2010. Justice Rose is seeking to replace retiring Justice J. Woodfin Jones as Chief Justice of the Court and has an opponent on the November ballot.
