Court Reinstates Burn Ban

The Llano County Commissioners reinstated the Burn Ban on Monday, Oct. 27 at their regularly called meeting. The ban means that open fires are prohibited; burning under the ban could result in a Class C misdemeanor and a fine up to $500. Commissioners approved a bond for Matt Rienstra, who was recently sworn in by County Judge Wayne Brascom as the First Assistant County Attorney.
