Earley wins cross country title at Fredericksburg

Freshman Jackie Earley raced past the competition Wednesday afternoon to win the Championship in the 2A/1A Varsity Girls’ Division of the Fredericksburg Invitational. Colin Linsey (20:25.78; 9th) and Antonio Perez (20:32.79; 10th) finished in the top ten of the varsity boys with teammate Joey Smith (20:39.35) close behind in 11th place. Earley clocked in at 13:13.12 in the 2-mile course with Kamryn Loeffler of Mason in second place at 13:19.02.
