Eagles blank Warriors in home opener

Scoring early and often, the varsity Eagles took down the Ingram Warriors 55-0 on Friday night at Eagle Field. Seven Eagles found the end zone and six more gained yardage on the ground or in the air as JC amassed 281 yards passing and 138 rushing. The Eagle defense stifled Ingram, not allowing a first down in the first half. Johnson City failed to take advantage of their opening possession, turning the ball over on a third down interception.
