JCISD Trustees Adopt 2021-22 District Budget and Property Tax Rate
Johnson City ISD Trustees held a special meeting Aug. 23. The meeting was the first in the new administration building. JCISD Trustees held a Special Meeting on August 23, 2021, and President Matt McKennis called the Public Hearing to order at 6:00 pm. There were no Public Comments, therefore the Public Hearing ended, and Open Session began at 6:06 pm. CFO Scott Berry addressed the Board, “The proposed Budget has a Maintenance and Operations rate (M&O) of 0.872 with no increase to Debt Service (I&S) at the rate of 0.1939, in accordance with the more aggressive repayment rate included in the bond passage.
