Unemployment rate improves in Blanco County
Blanco County’s unemployment rate fell in July and the county continues to have the lowest unemployment rate in the nine-county Rural Capital Area region, the Texas Workforce Commission announced Friday. The Blanco County unemployment rate fell to 3.7 percent last month, down from 4.1 percent in June. The unemployment rate in the Rural Capital Area region fell to 4.3 percent in July, after climbing to 4.9 percent in June.
