The Friday morning scrimmage, the first of two permitted by the University Interscholastic League for football teams each season, proved to be a showcase for the defenses of the JC Eagles and the visiting Sonora Broncos. A last-minute schedule change gave JC fans the welcomed opportunity to cheer the 2021 Eagles from the home stands rather than making a road trip to Stockdale.
