Class of 1959 reunites
The Class of 1959 celebrated its class reunion June 24 at Pecan Street Brewery. Pictured, front row, from left, are: Lena Mae (Felps) Ulrich, Levi Deike, Ellen (Maenius) Felps and Sharlene (Wood) Sultemeier. Pictured, back row, from left, are: Jim Odiorne, Herman Kast, Perry Sultemeier, Jimmy Casparis and Dwight Hall. Not pictured are class members: Bert Burris, Mary Jane (Bergman) Ahrens, Jeanette (Leonard) Pickard, Lynn Patterson, Gary Polvado and Tommy Smith. Deceased members are: Bonnie Loomis, Nancy Phelps, Richard Tanner and W.D. Wirehausen. The class remains a close-knit bunch and a great memory was an 18-0 win over Blanco in football during the class’s senior year.
