Former Eagles coach Randy Rutherford brought some heat with his opening pitch to commemorate the 2011 team he coached to the UIL 1A State Baseball Championship. His relief - McCray Jacobs and Nate Axtell - held the San Saba ‘Dillos to a single run aided by an errorless Eagle defense.
