Three shutouts and two no-hitters for Tourney Champs

After a 10-1 stumble against Blanco in their season opener, the Varsity Eagle Baseball team rattled off four wins in two days to win the Championship in the Charlotte Invitational Tournament last week. Head Coach Steven Shipley praised the solid performance of the Eagle pitching staff as a highlight of the week with a 6-0 shut-out against Dilley and a 15-0 no-hit shutout of Brooks Academy on Friday followed by a Saturday morning 10-0 no-hit shutout against LaPryor.
