Eagles pound the Punchers 70-38
JV still undefeated in District play
Ryan Alvis (33) and Sam Encina (3) led the JV Eagles in scoring against Mason with 8 and 7 points, respectively.
Senior Blake Jenkins torched Mason with 13 points in the first quarter last Tuesday and the Eagles cruised to 3-0 in district with a 79-38 victory against the visiting Mason Punchers. JC raced to a 17-7 first quarter lead and extended it to 32-13 by halftime. Mason Roberts contributed 15 points, Brinley Portie added 11 and Colin Linsey chipped in 8 going 6-for-6 from the free throw line.
