No clear favorite among District 29-2A Boys

Heading into the opening night of District 29-2A Boys’ Varsity on Tuesday there was no apparent frontrunner in the race for the UIL State Playoffs. Johnson City hosted the 0-3 Center Point Pirates at the LBJ High School Gym (late score). The Eagles three wins against four losses in the pre-district bests all other competitors except the 5-2 San Saba Armadillos.
