Corpus wins JCISD Board Place 7 race by small margin
Incumbents win local, regional elections
Incumbents carried the day in local and regional elections involving Blanco County. In the only race for a place on the JCISD school board, Cristol Carbury Corpus defended her Place 7 seat with 1,501 votes over challenger Carlette R. Lewis with 1,295 votes. In the race for Blanco County Commissioner in Precinct 1, incumbent Tommy Weir won with 77.66 percent of the vote.
