Lady Eagles advance to Regional Quarterfinals
Best Prepared Cheer Squad! The LBJHS Cheerleaders had their game plan in place, rolling out a poster proclaiming the Lady Eagles 2020 Area Champions just seconds after the final point.
The LBJ High School Lady Eagles defeated the Riviera-Kaufer Lady Seahawks 25-14, 25-13, 25-15 to win the Area Championship after earning a first round bye as Champions of District 29-2A. A balanced and powerful net game by the Lady Eagles wore down the Lady Seahawks on Monday at Karnes City sending Johnson City to the next round of the UIL 2A Volleyball State Playoffs.
