Reprinting History: Thousands attend park dedication (fifty years ago)
Former President and Mrs. Lyndon B. Johnson were honored at Stonewall Saturday when the new Lyndon B. Johnson State Park was dedicated. Editor’s note: This is a special reprint of the events occured on August 30, 1970. The people came by the thousands Saturday for the dedication of the Lyndon B. Johnson State Park located across the Pedernales River from the L.B.J. Ranch and birthplace of Former President Lyndon B. Johnson. A mass of people estimated at from 6,000 to 8,000 hear Lt.
