Going Green for Lyme Disease
Maura Ibanez, a local LBJHS student, completed her first task/challenge yesterday in her fundraising efforts for Lyme Warriors, an organization raising money and awareness for lyme disease. Ibanez and some members of her family have been diagnosed with the condition. For raising $50, Ibanez painted her father, Orlando Ibanez’s fingernails lime green.
