They may also offset genetic and environmental risks of Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias. New research suggests that adopting multiple healthy lifestyle choices, including healthy diet, not smoking, regular exercise and cognitive stimulation, may decrease the risk of cognitive decline and dementia.
