Garrett inducted into Prosper Athletic Hall of Honor
Donnie Garrett of Johnson City was recently inducted into the Prosper (TX) ISD Athletic Hall of Honor. He is pictured above with the array of medals from his stellar career in Track & Field at Prosper High School.
By Julie Storer Johnson City resident Donnie Garrett received an unexpected call one evening in April of 2019 from Valerie Little, the Athletic Director at Prosper ISD in north Texas, his alma mater. He had been selected as one of five members of the inaugural class of the newly-established Eagle Athletic Hall of Honor at Prosper Independent School District which he attended from the sixth through twelfth grades.
