City releases first delinquent financial audit, for 2016
The City of Johnson City released the first of three delinquent financial audits at a meeting earlier this month, while the accountant who prepared the audit criticized the city’s accounting practices. The audit for the year ending Sept. 30, 2016 was accepted by the city council on March 17 but the audit has not yet been posted to the city’s website as of Tuesday, March 24.
