On February 11, 2020, at her home, with her husband by her side, Cecilia Marie (Ce Ce) Matthews lost a hard-fought battle with Parkinson’s Disease. Ce Ce was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on July 29, 1943. Although most of her life was spent in Texas, she still considered Oklahoma as her true home and was a member of both the Chickasaw and Delaware Native American nations.
