Time to fill the truck again!
The black bag doesn’t look like much, but the contents — donated used clothing — will mean all the world to a spring disaster survivor whose clothes were all scattered by a tornado or soaked by a flood. Kathy Romero took in two of the first bags of clothes at the First United Methodist Church, which will be accepting your discarded clothes for the survivors through March.

If it’s Lent, it’s time for Johnson City to fill the truck again with donated clothing to go to survivors of disasters that haven’t happened yet. But we know they will happen. Every spring there’s a tornado or flood or other catastrophe somewhere in Texas whose survivors need fresh clothing so they can get to work cleaning up what’s left of their homes.
