Students Earn Awards at Special Olympics
Maria Alvarado, a 7th grader, and Eris Stone, a 6th grader at LBJ Middle school represented Eagle pride at the Special Olympics in Austin.
LBJ Middle School students represented well at the Special Olympics State Bowling Competition in Austin, TX. Both students bowled against athletes from all over the state to earn awards. Maria Alvarado, a 7th grader, bowled a personal best game of 130 in one of the games in competition. This earned her a well-deserved 1st place gold medal.
