LBJ Middle School students represented well at the Special Olympics State Bowling Competition in Austin, TX. Both students bowled against athletes from all over the state to earn awards. Maria Alvarado, a 7th grader, bowled a personal best game of 130 in one of the games in competition. This earned her a well-deserved 1st place gold medal.
