The LBJ High School Varsity Eagles are settling in to the new system of first-year Head Coach Drew Baker, putting up bigger point totals on offense and using their quickness to overcome a lack of size in an aggressive half-court defense. Still seeking their first District 25-3A win, the Eagles have played close to their last three opponents, including a 60-44 home loss to IDEA-Montopolis on Friday in which they held an early eight-point lead and entered the final period trialing by six.
