Lady Eagles stumble in District opener
The Lady Eagles Varsity fell to the Florence Lady Buffaloes in their District 25-3A opener last Tuesday at Florence. The Buffs charged out to a 10-4 lead in the first period which stretched to 25-6 at the half. The Lady Eagles won the second half scoring in double figures in the final two stanzas, but were unable to overcome the first-half deficit and fell by a final score of 50-35.
