The Blanco County Unit of the League of Women Voters, a nonpartisan organization devoted to voter registration, education, and mobilization, was honored with a proclamation Nov. 12 by the Blanco County Commissioners. Barbara Hudson, chair of the new unit, introduced other members in attendance. The Blanco County Unit was formed in October 2019, exactly 100 years after the nation’s first state chapter was established in San Antonio.
