Lady Eagles stopped in Area Round by Shorthorns
In a nail-biting, down-to-the-wire, four-set match the Lady Eagles season ended Thursday night in the Area round of the UIL State Volleyball Playoffs. The loss to Schulenburg (20-25, 25-22, 18-25, 30-32) cut short a season highlighted by an undefeated District 25-3A Championship, fourth consecutive Bi-District Championship and a 31-11 overall record.
