Wheelchair Ramp Construction
It wasn’t as big as the wheelchair ramps they’re used to building, but for the person who needs it, a six-inch step can be as much a barrier as a wall. This one was done last week by the ramp-building crew from the First United Methodist Church. The constructors were, from left, David Hamm, Carol Schlachter, Tom Walston, and Blaine Schwartz.
