JV Eagles get home victory to open district
The JV Football opened district with a 26-14 home victory over Comfort on Thursday. Cade Boyer setup two touchdowns on the ground and threw for another. Ryan Shipley was the beneficiary of Boyer’s rushes scoring on two short running plays and had an 85-yard reception for the score. Dakota Metcalf recovered a Bobcat fumble in the end zone for the Eagles final points. Hayden Fox and Cristian Hernandez made big plays in the backfield to lead the Eagle defense.
