Located under a beautiful live oak tree next to the 5 Points Market, the Rock Shop is a gem waiting to be discovered in Johnson City by visitors and locals alike. Miriam Poteet runs the shop not just as the co-owner alongside her husband Al, but as a rock enthusiast herself. While the shop has a variety of stones from amethyst to zeolite, and from locations both in Texas and the U.S.
