Eagles stopped short in season opener
A season-opening road trip to The Graveyard in San Saba proved to be a nightmare for the Eagles on Friday night as the Armadillos - ranked fourth in the State in Class 2A - outscored JC 55-3. Tulsa commit Sean O'Keefe and Running Back Eli Salinas combined to score forty-one points in the first half and the San Saba defense forced four Eagle turnovers to put the game away early.
