Commissioners Wait To Take Action on Proposed Tax Rate Increase

Judge Brett Bray called the special meeting of the Commissioners Court to order at 9:02 a.m. and all four commissioners were present. The second public hearing on the proposed budget took place after the Pledge of Allegiance. Judge Bray pointed out that a second public hearing on the budget was not required but the proposed tax rate did require two public hearings. Terry Casparis voiced his concerns over the early voting poll sites.
