Bulldogs edge Eagles 3-2 in final scrimmage
By Julie Storer The Johnson City Eagle Varsity and JV Football teams traveled to Marion on Thursday to take on the Class 3A-Division 1 Bulldogs in the final tune-up before kicking off the 2019 season. The Varsity squad scored first on an option keep when Wyatt Tumlinson found the end zone from five yards out. The second JC score came on a Logan Ledger pass to Jakub Emerson for a 42-yard touchdown.
