By Billie Jean Kutzer Saturday, June 22, was a perfect day for the contestants to compete in weighted and non-weighted categories. The overcast sky kept spectators from getting too hot. Children enjoyed rides on a train made from fifty-five-gallon drums pulled by a riding lawn mower. Some children competed with lawnmowers.
