Commissioners Proclaim April as “Child Abuse Prevention Month” in Blanco County

Blanco County Commissioners held a Special Meeting on March 26, 2019. All four Commissioners and Blanco County Judge Brett Bray attended the meeting. Ken Nickel, Executive Director of Hill Country Children’s Advocacy Center gave a presentation to the Commissioners. According to Nickel, “Ten percent of all children under age 18 have been sexually abused by the age of 18, and 95% of them know the predators.
