Grote Awarded Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Scholarship
LBJ High School Graduate, Grey Grote accepts his $20,000 from the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Association at the Texas FFA State Convention earlier this month.
Grey Grote, of the Johnson City FFA Chapter, was awarded a $20,000 scholarship, sponsored by the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo at the 90th annual Texas FFA State Convention held July 9-13 in Fort Worth. Grote was awarded for his qualifications in academic achievement, leadership, Supervised Agricultural Experience Programs, involvement in FFA Career and Leadership Development Events, and a personal interview.
